Brackish water purifier, salinity PBW

Ranging from 150 Liters/hour to 100,000 Liters/hour. Especially different from other models on the market, Karofi's equipment can filter saline water from 2,000 to 20,000ppm NaCl.

Remove salts and dissolved solids from water sources through the use of high-performance reverse osmosis RO membranes, specialized for saline water.

The filtered water source can be drunk directly at the tap, ensuring that it meets the standards of purified bottled water (QCVN 6-1:2010/MOH.)

The PBW brackish water purifier  and a saline water purifier are used in the following cases:

The system uses a high-pressure pump to pressurize water on the surface of the RO membrane dedicated to saline water. This RO membrane contains small holes that allow water molecules to pass through while blocking impurities (salts, minerals, bacteria, pathogens, and other organic substances, ...) The purity obtained from the center of the RO membrane has low pressure and the impurities will carry the high-pressure wastewater to the outside.

In particular, the PBW water purifier can operate at a wide pressure range (0÷30) bar, suitable for many different salinities. The saltier the water, the higher the operating pressure of the machine.

• Before starting the machine, check that the locking valves are completely open.
• Do not operate the machine at too high a pressure that will damage the RO membrane.
• Do not operate the machine continuously, run the machine for about 4-5 hours, so let the machine rest for >30 minutes.
• If the machine is not used for >7 days, it is necessary to wash the system with fresh water.
• The high-pressure pump head oil should be changed once a month.
• Regularly check the coarse filter (the inner core of 2 filter cups), if it is dirty, it must be cleaned or replaced.
