Van Don aerial port is the first airport in Vietnam that is privately owned and operated. Located in Doan Ket commune, Van Don district, Quang Ninh province, on a total area of 325 hectares, Van Don airport is invested in the form of BOT with a total amount of about VND 7,700 billion.
In early 2019, Van Don Airport completed the installation of 4 free pure water stations for passengers. The project is entrusted to KAROFI Joint Stock Company - reputable unit with leading experts in the water filter industry to deploy and complete.
The water boot system is installed with a capacity of 2000l / h. The quality of the outlet water of the system has been tested, ensuring compliance with standards and regulations in accordance with current safety regulations on straight drinking water.
Van Don aerial port has also been approved by the Ministry of Transport as an airport of grade 4E (according to the standard code of the International Civil Aviation Organization - ICAO) and a military airport of grade II.
