1.1. RO filtration system is composed of 3 main parts: 

• Pre-filter: Smax Duo technology
• RO membrane:  Smax RO technology
• Functional filters: Smax Nano technology

1.2. Smax Duo technology includes: 

• Smax Duo 1 filter - PP 5 micron: Removes scum, dirt, sand, grit, mud, algae and other solids over 5 microns in size in water.
• Smax Duo 2 filter- Ion exchange: The main materials are Polymer beads to treat hard water, limestone contaminated water, Remove Calcium, Magnesium and add beneficial ions such as Sodium, Potassium. Removes white scale, helps to reduce water hardness.
• Smax Duo 3 filter - PP 5 micron: The main materials are Polymer beads to treat hard water, limestone contaminated water, Remove Calcium, Magnesium and add beneficial ions such as Sodium, Potassium. Removes white scale, helps to reduce water hardness.

1.3. Smax RO technology: Smax RO Purifim membrane is the heart of the water purifier, which removes more than 99% of chlorine, oil, viruses, bacteria, amoeba, arsenic, metal ions and harmful substances in water.

1.4. Smax Nano technology includes:

• T33-GAC filter: handling difficult odors, organic substances... superior and stabilizing the natural sweetness of water
• Mineral filter: Supply minerals and help raise pH, helping to neutralize residual acids
